Every Year in Queensland approximately 600 men are recorded as having died by suicide. Behind every one of those deaths is a mother, father, sister, brother, aunty, uncle, grandmother, grandfather, partner, friend, colleague, customer, and community member.
The impact of these deaths extends far beyond the individual. Research indicates that each suicide can profoundly affect up to 240 people, creating a ripple effect that reaches all families, workplaces, schools, sporting clubs, businesses, and entire communities.
